Jorge S. Arango has been writing about art, architecture and design for about forty-five years. He is the author of fourteen books and is currently at work on a book about the contemporary art of Maine, tentatively scheduled for a spring 2027 release by Monacelli Press. He is the art reviewer for the Portland Press Herald in Maine and has published art criticism through various catalog essays, Hyperallergic and a quarterly art column in Aspire Design + Home.
