Gallery Hang brings together five leading Boston-area exhibitors for a temporary multi-gallery exhibition at Wayland Town Center. For three weekends this June, a vacant storefront will be transformed into a pop-up art fair with Steven Zevitas Gallery, Robert Klein Gallery, Caira Art Editions, LaiSun Keane, and Praise Shadows Art Gallery.

In addition to the exhibition, Gallery Hang will feature a series of public programs exploring contemporary art, collecting, and creative placemaking. Programs include a panel discussion on changing models for exhibiting and collecting art, a community bicycle ride along the Mass Central Rail Trail, and artist talks offering behind-the-scenes insight into the work on view.

All programs are free and open to the public.

NEW WALLS: WHERE THE GALLERY GOES NEXT
Thursday, June 11, 6:00 PM

How do people discover art today—and what inspires them to become collectors? As audience habits shift and traditional gallery models evolve, art businesses are experimenting with new ways to present work and reach new audiences. Join leaders from Steven Zevitas Gallery, Robert Klein Gallery, and Caira Art Editions for a conversation about project spaces, publishing, pop-ups, and the changing ways people encounter, experience, and collect contemporary art. Moderated by Jameson Johnson of Boston Art Review.

RIDE TO GALLERY HANG
Saturday, June 13, 2:00–5:00 PM

Departing from the Jones Road crossing in Weston, riders will travel west to Wayland Town Center for an afternoon of contemporary art, conversation, and refreshments. The route is flat and suitable for riders of all ages and abilities.
